LYRICAL & TECHNIQUE

Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and jazz dance that uses music with lyrics to inspire the movements of the dancer. Choreographers use the lyrics from the song to inspire the dance, portraying the emotion and story of the song.

Dancers will also work on their technique, strength and flexibility, which is of fundamental importance to any style of dance.

In 2025, En Pointe attended a Lyrical Dance competition and won many first and second place trophies.
