Miss Honey

Dance School Owner and Head Teacher

Miss Honey has over 8 years of experience teaching dance and gymnastics. She has been an assistant teacher and teacher in various dance schools before opening her own dance school. She has taken I.S.T.D and RAD Ballet, Tap & Modern examinations up to Advanced 1 and is always updating and continuing her professional development.

Miss Honey has entered many dance and gymnastics competitions, mostly placing first, including winning a talent competition at just eight years old. She has danced and performed in many shows and performances since an early age.

Miss Honey began her ISTD dance teacher training in 2023 at Kent, where she received training from industry professionals, choreographers and examiners for the ISTD syllabus. She received the latest training and dance education whilst developing her knowledge of inclusion, child development, health and safety and data protection.

Miss Honey has an I.S.T.D. Diploma in Dance Education across three genres: Imperial Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre.

She is also highly qualified in the following:

  • Acrobatic Arts Module 1, Module 2 & Pre-School Acro-Dance

  • Alixa Flexibility Module 1 & Module 2

  • British Gymnastics Women’s Artistic Level 1

  • ISTD Training Pointe work - Beginners to Intermediate

She continues to develop her knowledge by taking regular CPD (Continuous Professional Development) courses.

Miss Honey has an enhanced DBS check, is First Aid trained, completes annual Safeguarding Training and is a Licensed Chaperone

Miss Brooke

Miss Brooke has been dancing since she was four years old. She has entered many dance competitions, performed in shows and local displays.

Miss Brooke attends classes in all dance genres: Tap, Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Street and Lyrical, but her favourite dance genre is Street Dance.

She gained a place on the MVMNT Collective Associate Program to enhance her Street and Commercial training, where she took classes from industry professionals.

She has competed in many Street Dance competitions, resulting in many first places.

Miss Brooke also has a successful dance social media page with videos in excess of over 1 million views.

Miss Brooke has two years experience assisting in dance classes. Brooke loves encouraging the younger students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their goals.

Miss Brooke is DBS checked and has completed Chaperone and Safeguarding Training.

Miss Evie

Miss Evie has been dancing at various dance schools since the age of 3.

She has performed at various theatres including The Pomegranate Theatre and the Montgomery Theatre.

She is a member of the Youth Board at Buxton Opera House, where she helps to work towards making theatre and the creative arts more welcoming for the youth in the local area.

She is currently training in Intermediate Ballet and Modern and Grade 5 Tap with Miss Honey. Choosing her favourite dance genre is a hard choice but she would pick Lyrical or Modern.

Miss Evie is DBS checked, has completed Safeguarding Training and is a Licensed Chaperone.
